Celtics @ Sixers - pregame notes

Tonight will be our 4th and final game against the Sixers unless we see them again in the playoffs.

For the record we won, 88-87 and then loss 108-103 and again 111-99.

In the 108-103 loss, Rob and Al did not play. In the 111-99 loss, Marcus was out Schroder started in his place and stunk the place up while going 0-6 from the field. Also AH had a poor game in that loss scoring only 5 points with 2 rebounds.

The Sixers were healthy in all 3 games.

The Celtics have every reason to come out and play well. The Sixers traded sharp shooter Seth Curry and James Harden will not play until after the allstar game.

Theis is listed as day to day but the rest of the team should be ready to go.

The Celtics will win tonight. JB will break out of his funk and PP will have a solid game as well (both of them play well against Philly)

Our current win streak is the longest since the beginning of the 2019-20 season when we ripped off 10 in a row after dropping our season opener to the Sixers.

dboss, Embiid was out the first game that we won. This is the litmus test game for the Celts, even if Philly is without Harden.

The 26ers are also without Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and Ben Simmons.

Okay fine, they never had the services of Ben. Drummond? Meh.

They will miss Seth. In the prevoius three games against us, he scored 17, 26 and 17 points.

We may be without Smart and RWill. Both listed as questionable.

He will play, but in limited minutes (no more than 20).

The updated injury report indicates Rob questionable with a calf injury. (He did have a slight limp on Sunday)

Also, Smart is day to day.  Not sure what is happenjng there.

Theis is off the injury list.
