The celtics are pretty undersize aren't they?   (MY NOTE:  Wuh?  A 6'3" PG, a 6'6" SG, a 6'9" SF, a 6'9" PF and a 6'8" jumping jack of a center who is one of the league leaders in blocked shots seems "undersized" to you?)


They've been the best defense in the league for quite a long stretch. Timelord and Horford is going to be a challenge for Sabonis.

I think sabonis' game is hard to stop because he can beat teams in so many ways. Passing, rebounding, screening, etc. Plus he's so strong and physical before he goes up for his shot which neutralize athletic defenders a bit.

I think he'll have difficult time passing out the post with Brown, Tatum, and Smart all roaming around. Also he doesn't have the athleticism to neutralize the threat of a Timelord lob. And we don't have two wing defenders that can give both Tatum and Brown a hard time. Just a tough matchup overall for us lol

Gonna probably be guarded straight up by Marcus Smart an excellent defender.  So if I have to put money on it probably not.


Fox is out due to “hand injury”. Are we tanking?

Tatum is fantastic but he is not even in the same stratosphere as Jokic, Embiid, and Giannis for mvp. No way.

Only this dumba** team would try to trade for Donte twice, then finally get him and play an aging, much worse role player in front of him so you can artificially limit his first major contract. Fantastic.

No Fox tonight with the hand injury. Kinda sucks as he was killing it, but really good for the tank and Mitchell getting an extended look. I'm all for shutting Fox down rest of the season.

Starting holiday over Donte is an incompetent moronic decision that will probably get us closer to a top 4 pick. Have at it Gentry!   (MY NOTE:  Justin Holiday had 21 points on 7-13, 6-12 from 3.  He was NOT your problem)

They've had the best defense in the NBA by a wide margin for a couple months now. And getting Derrick White for free basically didn't hurt, was such a nice complimentary offensive piece to help bridge Tatum/Brown.   (MY NOTE:  If we can get Derrick White for free why can't we get Sabonis?)

Just a nightmare match-up for us right now. Celtics are the best team in the NBA currently with far and away the best defense in the league. And when Tatum is rolling like this, no one is going to beat them.

Lol this game is good for two reasons. It gives people a reality check, and its good for the tank.

I for one am thrilled the team is artificially limiting Donte's value. If I was Donte, I'd love to sign a team friendly deal for a shady, historically terrible organization. Great stuff everyone.

We need a better defensive coach that is pretty obvious. Playing zone against a team that is shooting 57 from 3 is kind of ridiculous?   (MY NOTE:  To be fair we struggled greatly against zones not too long ago, so this is decent scouting.  Ime just fixed that problem and now we can't be blanket defended like that anymore.  If our 3pt shooting is off, sure, but then the zone will work against most teams too)

Harrison Barnes: -29 +/-

Boston is just red hot. I don't even think the Kings played that bad.   May have been a different game with De'Aaron Fox playing

Every time I see Jayson Tatum, I’m reminded that he was another one that the Kings let pass by; if you don’t know that story, please do some research. And then cry.    (MY NOTE:  Kings traded with Philly in 2015 and the deal included the right for Philly to swap picks in 2017.  Kings were #3, Philly was #5.  Philly swapped and moved up to 3rd and then cut the deal with Trader Danny that got them Fultz @ #1 and we got Tatum @ #3 and a future pick that turned into Romeo.  What this guy is missing is that if Philly didn't do that trade we would have just taken Tatum #1 anyway.  Either way nobody was getting Jayson Tatum other than us.  Danny twisted the knife in Philly's gut by flat-out saying that they could have gotten Fultz without the trade)



The only positive I can see is if we still had kept the 3rd pick, we would have selected someone who’d be out of the league by now.


Didn’t bother watching but they allowed 55% from 3 and Tatum and Brown both had a 30 piece. Looks like we got dogged all night. Tank rolls on.
