This Boston defense is solid, but Middleton would shred them.

i have absolutely no confidence in our ability to sustain our effort and focus now up again in this series. i think the celtics come back and win again in game 4 for the same reasons we let them back into the last game after that third qtr.

I think if Khris keeps outplaying Tatum while in street clothes, we’ll have a good shot to get this game

When Giannis and KD was shooting 35% the talk is how good their defense is   But when Tatum does it the talk is that he wont be that bad again   Its like hes been that bad 2 times in 3 games by accident

I have a feeling that Horford isn’t going to be as fresh after only one day of rest. Don’t expect him to play that well on Monday night.

I feel like the Celtics will be gassed by game 6, that's a big reason I thought game 3 was huge for the Bucks, greatly helps our chances of being up 3-2 going into game 6. Plus Middleton might be back for game 6.

The FT disparity might well reverse in the opposite direction in game 4 as well. The refs won't like giving a team +17 FTA more AND said team still throws them under the bus.

This is what I am thinking, NBA officials are spiteful and they're not going to take very kindly to Boston crying so hard and calling them out after having a 34-17 FT advantage in game 3.   (MY NOTE:  for the record we took 20ftas and they took 27ftas)

I could see it unfolding that way for sure. Maybe they simply stop missing Tatum & Jaylen push offs, Grant Williams flopping. Quit calling cheap contact fouls against the Bucks & unearned superstar calls for their duo.

Seeing the Celtics whine incessantly about FT's while finishing game 3 with a whopping 34-17 advantage in FTA on the road is insane. Their coach literally said he needs to teach his guys to FLOP MORE. Like come on dude...

Refs/NBA can't be happy with Celtics complaining about officiating after they threw the game for them and they still lost. Gonna see some favorable whistles and the tears will be salty.

Grayson needs to compete harder. If his shot isn't going down then whatever. But he has looked like he's gone into his shell a bit with all the physicality of this series. He needs to be locked up and fed only raw meat for a day or 2 to get some aggro into him.

What the he** can he do when they call crazy fouls on him & let a Grant Williams blatantly deck him? The strip he had on Tatum wasn't very introverted, & he didn't foul but according to the refs it was.  

Horst came out complaining about the officiating today. I get it, but man the constant complaints from everyone is just so tiring.

Horst's comments were pretty benign. He was asked about it, talked a little about the numbers discrepancy and that's about it.

I don't think this is benign:    Horst-“When you start looking at the numbers, I mean, it’s just, it’s pretty outrageous,”

The difference is Horst’s complaints were legitimate and backed by data from the game. Not gut feel bull from a bunch of whiners.

Guarantee we win this game.  Bucks have exposed the Celtics for the clowns they are and Bud can coach circles around their clown of a coach.  

there's some comfort that hopefully the Bucks don't get screwed by foul calls.

Celtics are 2-10 in playoff games since 2015 with Tony Brothers officiating.  (MY NOTE:  3-10 is still pretty atrocious.  Funny, as long as we're talking numbers and not just BS whining...)

I kinda like the bad boy Bucks look, especially with Boston whining and complaining for days afterwards. As long as we’re not playing dirty (we aren’t and I won’t stand for that), it kind of suits us. We’re clearly in their head. If I were Bud, I’d say play even more physical and make Boston think about how badly they want this. We ain’t scared, are you?

It needs to be talked about more what an insufferable POS Grant Williams is. On the talent/superstar vs insufferable/POS matrix, he is way up there. Total no-talent, fullback try-hard who competes with the Hardens, CP3s, Bookers for most insufferable. At least the other guys are stars. The amount of talking and whining and flexing he does is outrageous. Thinks he is hot hot ****.

Nah, disagree there. Grant Williams is a complainer, but he’s a d**n good player. Would love to have him on the Bucks. Big body, moves pretty well, great three point shooter, good passer. Reminds me of a younger PJ Tucker.

Tatum just being Tatum this series, in the regular season he shot 38% or lower 26 times!!!   He aint better than that he is just a high volume player

I have never seen a fan base whine about the refs this much ever like Celtics fans are right now, and as someone else posted this is all of the back of the bravado from pushing KD and Kyrie around who were playing with Dragic, Curry and Mills.

Specifically for how we match up with them I'd almost rather have a not quite 100% Timelord out there. They can be much more dangerous offensively without him.

Timelord has not been particularly good this series and hasn't been particularly good since he came back (very understandable), but they're just so thin especially up front. I assume Grant Williams will slide into the starting lineup and now you're basically down to 7 guys unless you want to dust the cobwebs off Theis playing real minutes.

This Boston team has always seemed to play better undermanned. Kind of scared about this now.

We lost to them without Smart. Can't be overconfident at all.

Williams hasn't been great this series but his absence will have a big impact on their frontcourt depth. If Grant and or Horford get in foul trouble or get tired out, that could be some real trouble for Boston.

Timelord looked to be playing at about 65% since returning so even though it is a loss for BOS, I don't think it's that big of a loss against us. Horford and G.Williams have been playing very well against Giannis and Lopez.

Serge Ibaka is inactive tonight with a non-COVID illness for the Bucks.
