Per Woj, DeAndre Ayton just signed a max 4 year $180+M offer sheet with Indy.  Indy has a couple of days to match.


I have NO idea how this is panning out.  Clearly Phoenix didn't want to give him that kind of money.   If it turns into a sign-and-trade (Phoenix matches and then trades him to Indy) then who does Indy send to Phoenix?  Myles Turner?  And who else?

Bodies flying everywhere equals opportunity for  Brad.  He has that $17M TPE that expires in a few days.

The Suns cannot trade Ayton until Jan. 15 -- and cannot trade him for a full year without his consent. This takes Ayton out of any possible offseason trade scenario involving Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant.

This could have been taken care of last October.  A year should give Monty and Ayton time to get on the same page.
