Re-sign Kemba Walker? Who says no?
Should we and can we? He’s been waived by the Pistons.

Me.
Our back court is stacked. Why would we want a player who should be behind Pritchard who's health is dubious?
I'm still lusting for a big. We are NOT stacked at big.

No joke. It’s yes or no and/or why if you so choose to.

I'd take Walker over Justin Jackson.
Justin's salary: $2,133,278
Walker's (a ten season (+) vet) salary: $2,564,753
Not that much difference.
He can play the Eddie House role.

Re: Re-sign Kemba Walker? Who says no?
It was truly sad watching Kemba on the sidelines during the Celtics/Hornet's game. BUT...signing him would push Pritchard out the door, I have no doubt about that. I have read that he is not happy with his position right now. Trouble is, Brad did the right thing by gobbling up Brogden, and I would not be surprised to see Pritchard play out his rookie contract and become free at the end of the year, IF the Celtics do not move him before that. I love the kid but he is fourth on the bench when it comes to guards. I know there are all kinds of noise out there about trading Derrick White, but that would be a mistake in my eyes. So...where does the kid go from here??? and Kemba is not an answer

We wouldnt need Kemba to do a whole lot but his vet savvy, ability to hit big shots and need I say he is great for the locker room. Good guy.
He can still play and we are on the cusp.
I get the PP aspect as well but PP is young and has years ahead of him to improve and make a name for himself. Having Kemba for maybe a year, 2 tops shouldn't stunt PP’s growth. He’ll still get decent minutes.
I’d prefer a Big too but if not i wouldn't mind having Kemba back.
We are so close and I think he can help get us over the hump.
Just a thought.

Pritch was way off tonight, both little guys are liabilities on defense. We have enough players with injury issues, do we really need to add another? I’d rather give those minutes to Pritch and Davison.

If we're talking about the Celtic scrap heap, might as well throw IT into this conversation.
Probably time to move on. Looks like we've caught the TO bug again. Glad to get that all out now and not when it counts. Would have slayed TOR "again" if we held onto the dang ball.
On to the opener. Better come ready. At least the schedulers gave us a home game nationally. Usually this game would be in PHI or anywhere but Boston. Maybe we've earned a little respect back in the NBA...

P.S. Looks like Lakers are hobbling right out of the gate...or should I say just before the gate. Couldn't happen to a nicer, more deserving team. Sorry, just don't like the Lakers. Never have. Never will. My bad. Bad David.

I like Kemba but in my opinion if we are looking to add another player I would favor getting another big.
