Pre-Game Clips
Alright. Round 2 vs. Clips tonight. Since we've equally seen Jekyll and Hyde on this home stand, we are unable to predict with any great accuracy which team will show up for us tonight.
Vegas seems to think we've got this at BOS(-6.5) which IMHBAO is all but a slaughter. Forgive me but I'm a little skeptical. The ESPN injury report doesn't list LAC which means they are probably the only team fully healthy so the Clips can't complain about anyone missing. George and Leonard will be there looking to try to prove our last meeting in LA was no fluke.
Losing tonight would leave another proverbial bad taste in our respective mouths. We need to take care of business similar to how we handled the last two games vs. superior and inferior competition...play OUR game and blow everyone out regardless of current standing.
Again, I'm looking for the RWIII gap to continue developing. If our opponents are scoring in the low 100's, that's a great defensive night for us with the current state of the league. We're not going to see anymore games in the 80's unless you're CHA or DET. If we are hitting on all cylinders, offensively we should be in the 130's-140's regardless of opponent and/or who's in or out of the lineup. These last two games are leaning that way. 139-118 vs. Bucks and 126-102 vs. HOU. I'd put RWIII at about 50% now with his Double/Double.
Again, let's play the game and see what we've got!
