Ice Trae or Supper Trae?

I’ve never been much of a fan of Trae Young. It’s not because of his up and down play on the floor, his bad shots that come in volumns and his lack ability to defend.

I  just didn’t like his antics and showboating that he instilled into his game a few years ago. Oh, and Trae who’s alleged to be a coach killer didn’t help either.

Call me old school but I detest that type of behavior when anyone does it.

Trae always reminded me of that kid in grade school that was always a nuisance during recess. Nobody wants to play with him because he’s a diminutive big mouth pain in the butt.

I have to admit though, that I have come to like him a little bit.
He’s always been undersized and reminded of it ever since he’s been playing.
That might have further fueled his ambitions which can be more frustrating when some of what is said is true and you can’t do nothing about it because of your lack of ability to do so.

Not so with Trae. He’s obviously talented. A great passer. A very good player that is fearless. His size doesn’t help him but he’s making the best of it.

Overrated?

I don’t know what it feels like when your own peers say that you are overrated.
It’s a low blow that’s really unnecessary, cruel and hurtful to say out loud.
Thats got to hurt. It’s one thing when a few sportswriter or reporters who can’t even lace up a pair of sneakers insinuate it. But for your peers to say it out loud. It has got to hurt.

If you happen to be one of those players that ranked him overrated put your name to it.
Whoever came up with this novel idea needs to Kill this rock throwing, hand hiding type of a poll.
If they can’t or won’t then how about accentuating the positives and leave the negativity to the handful of bitter reporters and broadcasters.

Anonymity might make for interesting fodder amongst fans but it stinks when its players about other players.

Knowing Trae he’ll use it as fuel for next season and for the better. We’ll just have to wait and see.
However, It would be mo better and mo fun if he knew who the ones are that feel he’s overrated.
Something tells me that Trae will make every attempt to teach them a lesson.

Trae Young had a very positive post game presser.  He even talked about the weird out of bounds play and said that they did not work on inbounding the ball from the corner (area)  He spoke very highly of Quin moving forward.

About that inbounds play that extended for what seem like an eternity.  My wife said "well at least he got hit with the ball'

I cannot recall witnessing so many groin hits all around the NBA.

Marcus is our leader and one could refer to him as our bell cow.  It seems that he has been ringing away a few too many times.

I have to admit, once the game was in hand with our 13-0 barrage with about a minute left, I was hoping JT or Al or MS would do the arm rubbing winter chill move TY did in Boston, but I'm almost positive Coach Joe mentioned that and stated anyone that did that would be banned from the next series, if we were able to survive the onslaught for the last 50 seconds or so that would have resulted from Trae and win G7.  It would be ala Reggie Miller again vs. NYK again.  No reason to poke the bear.  That's what champions do.  Just look up at the scoreboard Knucklehead!  Surprisingly, I don't think I'd want him on our team.  No offense.  See you next season, Trae.
