IMO Perk made the decision to be “hot take famous” and to be featured on ESPN. I’m in no way saying that he made a mistake, the man has a family to feed and the Celtics weren’t looking to put him on their payroll on a full time basis. So he went to the four letter network to be an “on air personality”. Basically, he made a business decision, and as part of that decision he was charged (goaded) into bashing the Celtics and to follow the company line, aka, what Celtic hating SAS wants him to say.

You are giving him the pass he is looking for. He wants to blame the Celtics for this, however, they are the ones that started him down this road of being on tv to start off with. They gave him a life line for over two or three years, he paid them back by bashing the star of the team and his partner whenever he got the chance. You are right he has a family to feed and took this road. Now he wants to bash the team for not putting him on pregame/postgame remarks after he repeatedly threw mud Sorry, no pity here for him. Good luck to him, but he had better watch his back, that station could care less if he has a family to feed. The choices we make are the choices we live with.

I agree with you Rosie. IMO he took the low road for temporary and short lived fame and fortune. He sold out the eternal reverence of being a championship winning player on the greatest franchise in league history to come up with some inane catch phrases (carry the hell on…REALLY) and stupid hot takes and criticism of the organization that reveres its heroes. Oh well. As you said Rosie, the four letter network will soon find themselves another flavor of the month and he’ll be shown the door looking for some irrelevant podcast to participate on.
