This is looking like our 2nd big test of this early season.  Also at home.  BOS(-9.5).  That's steep.  But it has no impact on the game as we know it.

Only thing I'm going to be watching tonight is who's guarding/defending Lillard and how well that will be going for him.  A distant second on my concern list will be Bobby Portis, who's guarding him and how well that is going.  Al's got Giannis in a draw.  Giannis is the one guy Al loves to see and gets up for accordingly.

The league now knows that Boston's MO is we will take what you are giving us and relentlessly pursue that until you cry Uncle.  We're going to move the ball with Globetrotter-like accuracy and speed.  Opponents are in for 4 quarters of Pure Hell.  Back off of us defensively and it's 3-bomb with accuracy.  Then you're trading 3's for 2's.  Can't catch up as we will be more accurate than our opponents and we will shoot & make more 3's than you.  Take 3's away and JT and JB are driving past you to the basket for 3 points the old fashioned way, shooting mid-range or driving and dishing out for wide open 3's on the defensive collapse.

What am I missing above?  Who am I missing?  Doogie back tonight?  Let me check.  He is questionable for tonight.  I'm astonished.  If I wasn't following this team and knew this team, I wouldn't know Doogie and KP were/are missing.  That's a really good sign.  Not slighting either of them nor their talents and contributions when they are on the floor.  That's how deep we are.  I'm hoping our first home game was a warm-up act for what we can expect to see tonight against the upper-tier league Bucks team.  I will be counting how many Chris Middleton references are made vs. our two guys that are out.

Milwaukee will be on 2nd game of b2b and they couldn’t even score enough to beat the lowly Nets. I’m not making excuses for them, but I am a purist and I respect Giannis’s game and how hard he has played for years carrying that franchise. The Lillard trade was the worst move by them, allowing us to get the multitalented Holiday. Bucks may be just a .500 team this year, after tonight they will be 1-3.

Expect to see Jaylen in Lilliard’s shorts from the tip. I’m sure the bucks will PNR to get Jaylen off him, but then either White, Holiday or JT will be on him.

After losing focus against a feisty Pistons team, I think CJ will have us ready to go tonight.

Here is their box score and game flow graph.

It was a close game throughout the first three quarters, then the Bucks' scoring failed to keep pace with that of the Nets.  The Net lead got stretched out to 19-20~ish before a late Buck flurry got it down to 13.

Did Giannis become tired (and useless) late in the game?  If so, work him hard on both ends right off the bat.
