Was wondering when the last time was that KG had more than the 9 assists he had tonight and noticed it was when he had his last triple double - in a 124-117 double overtime loss to Boston in his final year with the T-Wolves. Notice who Boston's high scorer was in that game:

KG ALSO had a triple double three weeks earlier, and ALSO against Boston, this time a 109-107 T-Wolves win:

That loss was the 18th of that painful 18 game losing streak, when the losses were coming in mind-numbing frequency on the way to 24-58 in the final weeks of a season where we were all dreaming about Greg Oden. Remember those days?

yes i recall "those days" vividly, every game was a Game On! over at the Globes message board and the losses were painfull to expereince.. last night i got to thinking about "those days" and thinking Greg would be such a nice addition to our team- hey us Buckeyes have sent the Celtics some dandy's ya know.. (Hondo). Glad the balls didnt go our way now in retrospect.

one thing that was also comforting back in "those days" were a few of the stats.. Al showed he can be a player in this league, Delonte was coming around- and Gomes, 17 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 stls and 21 pts (wont mention it was in 52 minutes of play)

for that game we had 2 "vets" playing, Paul and Scal, the others still on rookie contracts, and 6 of those 7 are still in the league, and 5 of them have been starters for us or other teams since then.. not bad pickups for Mr. Danny Ainge.
