I guess you can look at this game like a glass......was it half bored or half sloppy? Whatever you want to call it we did show some shades of brilliance! Even tough Murphy had a lot of rust on him, he is going to be a factor in our run to the finals. He is well put together and he'll fit in nicely.

Green showed so great moves and scoring touch although his first shot in the Garden is not and I guarantee not going to make the high-light show.

Now BABY........what the heck is going on. This team is like an elevator with the players up and down up and down. Hope he's ok. Will check the wires to get latest update!

Next game Friday ......they should get the new guys throw at least a practice and familiar with the Celtic system.

We lost out on Brewer who signed a 2 year deal with Dallas. Wonder who we'll add. If Baby is down does that open up a spot for Powe?

SOURCE: CELTICS WILL SIGN SASHA PAVLOVIC
By: Paul Flannery

Having missed out on Corey Brewer, the Celtics are hoping to wrap up a deal with free agent swingman Sasha Pavlovic quickly, according to a source. Pavlovic played 10 games with the Mavericks and four with the Hornets this season. The 27-year-old Pavlovic saw action in 71 games with the Timberwolves last season and was a part-time starter with the Cavaliers for four seasons before that. He's 6-foot-8 and can play both the off guard and small forward positions.

What do you all think of Green so far? It is hard for me to get a read on his skills or problems as a player. Kristic is an easier read out there. He has good hands and a nice mid range game. Willing if unskilled defender. Can shoot free throws.
Green seems to have good hops, a pretty good shot and can fill the lanes with Rondo on the break but damn if i can get a read on him. What do yall think?

Not enough time on the court yet for Green. Kristic looked more aggressive in the paint and hit some outside shots that were pretty. Let's see.

Baby has to lose like 40-50 pounds this off season,he just won't last. Dr J told Barkley in his rookie year you've got to lose weight or your not gonna last, well Sir Charles took the HoFers advice. Baby has no lift and can't even play big minutes, his body can't take it, too much pounding on the joints. Now I'm glad we have Murphy.

Boston really took it to the suns. Kg, pp, rr, ra all played very well. The slippage occurred because doc put the second unit on the court together and they have not played together long enough to be effective. So the starters had to come in and win the game again.

Liked both green and murphy.

Baby has too much weight on those knees. That problem has no immediate fix.

He better lose weight, Barkley lost weight, Keven Love lost weight, if he doesn't he'll be out of the league before 30.

I didn't watch the game.

The boxscore says KG was a monster last night. 12-14? Whoa! Channing Frye was 1-4 with 4 points. I wonder if KG remembers the loss in Phoenix and him getting tossed for flicking Frye in the nuts and then going down like he'd been shot.

I'll give BB some kudos as he's apparently been playing hurt to a degree. Probably explains some of the stinky games he's played recently too. No reason for it now he's got some back up now so hopefully a little rest will help...........short term and as mentioned by Cow and others, loosing weight is absolutely important for his future NBA career.

Frye and Carter banged heads in the third quarter and both left for the night. Not saying he would have done much more had he stayed in the game but he hadn't done much to that point. SUNS big comeback (16-0) run was completely done by 5 subs no starter was on the floor. Nash was being a prick too. Got T'd up and continued to curse but no second T..........and as Tommy said if it had been KG..............he'd been gone. (even the usually soft spoken Grant Hill got a T)

Man so many easy shots in the first half then the C's went to the locker room and went home.

Ugly second half blowing virtually all of a 30 point lead but we gt the win and the minutes weren't huge but still more than shoould have ever happened.

Against a better team we may have been in a world of trouble.

Kristic and Green looked good. Kristic doesn't commit the stupid fouls and boards OK. Green will need more time but the talent is there and we saw flashes of it. Murph looked rustier than a 63 Ford, had 2 layups blocked and bricked a trey......but he did rebound OK, he'll need some time to adjust.

Once all parts start clicking Rondo and West might both get 10 dimes a game.

With our relatively easy schedule hopefully DOc can intigrate these players frequently while still winning. Picked up a game on the BULLS and it's Orlando - Miami this eve. Hopefully D-12 is in warrior mode, a 30-20 game would be nice, along with a hard foul or to on you know who!

Solid game all around. As has been said, the lead slipped with the second unit playing together for an extended period of time. With more seasoning that wont happen again – nor would Doc keep the starters out for that long in an important game. When it was all clicking in the second quarter, their second unit showed flashes of how potent they can be.

KG had one of his best games in a Celtics uniform. Shooting lights out, rebounding, passing, defending, talking smack…rock solid game.

Rondo just destroyed Steve Nash – leaving him frustrated, bewildered, and SCREAMING at the refs.

PP, RA – played average games, solid enough, nothing too spectacular.

Krstic - very solid game. Guy has good hands, good moves, good range, hustles for rebounds and shows a willingness to play D. As he picks up the system, he will prove to be a BIG addition. Very well maybe more important than Jeff Green during this season.

Jeff Green – Showed flashes of why he is here…and why he is a future all star. Runs the floor very well for a guy at 6’ 8”. Good jumper, good FT shooter, hangs around the offensive glass. His defense needs work, but Doc can teach him that…..he just needs to get his sea legs so to speak. This will prove tobe a VERY big acquisition for the C’s – building the foundation for the future after the Big 3. Great move by DA.

Avery – looks like a totally different player since Nate left. Like he knows the back up job is his, and he is playing with more freedom and more of a loose, easy going style. Didn’t play that well last night, but he is looking for his shot, bringing the ball up with purpose. All in all, he is maturing and improving daily. Very nice upside for this guy.

Murphy – looked rusty, but has all the tools to help out. He grabbed a few boards, and once his shot starts falling – he will really help space the floor for Shaq and / or KG. His defense is non existent, but he won’t be in games at crunch time – so who cares. As long as he hustles and hits some shots, he will be valuable in the playoffs.

Nice game all around.
