Bob,

Great article by Jackie. As usual, she knows more of the inside stuff about the Celtics than any other media person. She's also somewhat "old school" in that she withholds some of it until it's "old news" and its revelation can't really hurt anyone or anything. That's called "integrity."

Her earlier statements about Avery Bradley were made on the cusp of his being miscast as a point guard. But, well after she made those statements (and obviously was seizing the opportunity to rethink Avery's situation), there were still snide remarks directed at her.

But Jackie is, without qualification, the best writer where the Boston Celtics are concerned. And Doc is, without qualification, the single most reliable asset the Celtics have going for them.
