Who holds the record for consecutive 1000 rebound seasons and how many?

Bill Russell? And I'll say 12 consecutive seasons. The only reason that it wasn't all 13 years he played was that he missed about 1/3 of his rookie season because he was playing in the Olympics.

I was going to say Wilt but I think his streak of 1000 plus boards was broken when he missed most of the 1970 regular season with an injury.

Bill would have made it 13 if not for in his Rookie year had he played about 2-3 more games......as it was he had 943 boards in 48 games.
