btw, Andrew Nicholson, the PF from St. Bonny we passed on in favor of Sully and Melo, went for 24 points yesterday and 13 today.
Not 20, like I originally posted.

So far I'm liking what I'm seeing.
Joseph with a missed offensive putback, drive to the hoop for a foul and a steal.
Sully with an 18 footer.
Moore with a block and some ballhandling.
Xmas with nice transition D.

Man, Kris Joseph has a very good chance of making this team. Another offensive rebound, this one goes in.
For someone who played a 2-3 zone for Boeheim he has done an absolutely remarkable job of learning NBA man-to-man in just a few weeks.

24-18 after one.
Joseph looking very good. 6'7" but is playing bigger and is mobile.

Can't throw the ball in the Atlantic in the 2nd quarter.

4 1/2 minutes left in the 2nd and we've scored a total of 1 point.

45-31 at the half.
7 point quarter for the Celtics. 3s by Xmas and Moore and a Sully f/t.
Man oh man is that poor. No flow at all, poor transition defense.
Sully working hard but it isn't working for him today. Just not dropping.
Best player for the Celtics through 2, Kris Joseph. Consistently on or near the ball.

I'm hoping Sullinger will develop a back-to-the basket game so he can present a variety of looks to the opposition.

Saw some of that yesterday. None of that today.

Doc mentioned the one thing I noticed about Sully in the first half. He can really pass the ball. He appears to have enough tools that he can be one of those guys who, if he's in a shooting slump, can contribute strongly in other ways. I arrived to late to see much of Melo. Anything there, Bob?

He's a very effective help defender. He will come out of nowhere to block a shot. Very questionable man-to-man, though.

Sully made a beautiful pass from above the foul line to Joseph underneath in the first half. Nice cut by Joseph too.

There's your back to the basket from Sully, Sam.
Unless Pietrus, Sasha and Daniels all resign, I think Joseph is making this team. Or at least coming to camp.

I'm really getting to like Joseph as a scoring 3. However, Moore (as a PG) and Johnson (as anything) are underwhelming me. I don't see Johnson, in particular, as being strong enough in any attribute to outweigh the fact that he's a turnover machine.
Nice outlet by Sullinger, eventuating in a Celtics 3.

Jamar Smith with a couple of buckets. Too little too late, I think, for him.
JJJ is underwhelming. I think he gets packaged.
Moore is a SG. Doc should stop trying to pigeon-hole him into PG, like he tried to do with Bradley. Let him be who he is, a shooter.

Xmas turning it on. Fullcourt steal and stuff and then a great pass underneath to Williams.
He's playing for Houston in Vegas. I don't know the contract situation. I hope we have a shot at him.

Slow reaction on the transition D by Melo. Great transition D by Joseph to create the opportunity for Melo, which he blew.
Jamar Smith has shown he can shoot. Enough for an invite to camp? Is he playing for us in Vegas too?
Poor quarter ending hero ball BS by Joseph. Otherwise, he's been a stud today.

Gibson making some noise with his shooting. Unfortunately, at 6'1", he needs to play point, not SG.

Gibson trying his best to make an impression.
Lasme looks like he hasn't played ball in a while. 2 travels in a row.

Moore's looking a little better at running the team. Who's this Gibson guy?
