CELTICS RECALL FAB MELO FROM RED CLAWS

The Celtics announced that they have recalled center Fab Melo from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws. Melo was averaging 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game while averaging 23 minutes in five games with Maine. The seven-footer out of Syracuse was taken by the Celtics in the first round (No. 22 overall) of the 2012 NBA draft.
