Re: be safe everyone
Matty, I went to the grocery store and bought bread, peanut butter and fluff so I'll be good for a couple of days at least. Rats, I forgot milk.... Just have to go with water, but it won't be quite right.
Lately out here in Western MA we've been missing the worst of the storms. Hope that remains true. We consider ourselves "hardy" here, but I'll bet someone from Maine would consider us pansies. (Now there is an opening for you gyso)
I did finally buy a good snowblower last year so it will get a good workout for the first time tonight. I'll even be a good neighbor and take care of my elderly neighbor's walk and driveway.
Heck, no Celtics or Bruins on tonight, guess I'll just stay in and do my taxes.........

112288,
I uploaded them to Picasa, then I copied their url into "Image"
Unfortunately the "Host an Image" feature doesn't work or, maybe I don't know how to use it correctly.

Sinus,
If you have a file on your computer that you want to post, it is a two step process.
1. Use the Host an Image button. Browse to chose the file. Once you find it, press Open and you will come back to the Host page. Set it to the biggest resize image width number, 1024 (that is what I do). Then pick "Host it". That will give you 3 choices; Thumbnail, Image and Image URL. I use the Image URL. Press "Copy" to the left of Image URL and it will copy it to your clipboard. You may have to give your computer permission to do this last step, I do.
2. Now the image URL has been copied to your clipboard. Move over to the next box, Image. Press it and pick inside the empty box next to the chain symbol. Paste (right click-Paste or Ctrl V, or whatever you usually do to paste) the URL in the box and then press "OK".
Two steps, easy, right? (LOL) Good luck.
I have a Microsoft PC, you and others may have something different. No matter, it still should work in a similar way.
Nice pics, by the way. We didn't get it that bad up this far, but down in Portland, they did.

Gyso,
That box with 3 choices doesn't go away and there's no OK button.
In your description, what is "empty box next to chain symbol"?
Thx.

Sinus,
You are right, that box doesn't go away until you start step 2. However, that means that you may have completed step 1.
For step 2, press our Image button (it could also be called the Insert Image button, it is called that in the Post a reply Preview), just to the right of the first Host an Image button. Hopefully, the box with 3 choices goes away and you will see what you need to in order to complete step 2.

This is a classic!! I was playing around as I was trying to go through the steps of inserting images and I found this on my computer.

Here is another one I found. I didn't take it. It is from up in the Allagash (Northern Maine)
