The game of basketball has turned into Big Business. To have an owner like Jerry Buss around the league for so long really has been great for LA. He kept the image of the team high for all these years. Having lived thru the era of Walter Brown, who gave up his own money time and time again to make salary, it is sad to see another icon of the game disappear. God Bless him and his family. I am sure the Lakers will be okay, but, it will never be the same without a guy like that around the league.
