Perk had another great game and looks more and more mobile and in sync. He was just fierce inside on d and rebounded the ball very well. Bobcats did not have an answer for Perk. The Boston Celtics are very deep, tall and strong inside.

Let's see, KP was 9 for 10 tonight from the floor and 3-3 at the FT line, 21 points and was dominant down low all night long. He showed some very nifty low post moves, including a step thru up and under that he borrowed from Rondo.

Come on fellas, for goodness sake, call Perk's number in the fourth quarter... at least occasionally. Reward the big man! Show him some respect! Turn the beast loose. Show him some LUV!

He is playing like an all-star who had it going on... all night long!

Perk had another great game,something clicked vs Raptors and look what he did last night!!!its not like Chris Bosh,Jermaine O'Neal and Tyson Chandler are slouches and Perk couldn't be stopped both ends.He showed gradual improvement last year,but hes got to be light years ahead of where he was in our championship year.Offense is the obvious improvement,but his strengths have gotten even better as right now hes also our best defensive player too.

heard Doc speak about how he is not rushing things, not like Perk was ever quick but he is taking more time to complete moves. I think he has a better idea of what he wants to do and now he is more able to do more things.

Imagine when he can consistantly knock down the 12 footer from anywhere.

Thats one of the things I love about Perk is how he lays the heavy lumber in traffic,thats the same trait that I loved about Cowens and Silas.Losing that weight has made him a little quicker leaper as you pointed out on another post,this little more has made him much more effective.....Perk should be an all star this year,after Dwight Howard hes got to be the best true center in the East.

They don't show the post game interviews on NBA League Pass,so good to hear what Doc said.Right now Perks offense may be better than Howards too,did Howard ever have a 3 game stretch with this kind of FG %?

Heard Doc on espn radio this AM on way in to work. I get league pass too and NEVER get the postgame or pregame stuff........but at least I get the game!!

I mistyped your name bear (fixed it) which is what Perkins would be with a 12 foot jumper.

All these years I have thought of him as a "legitimate nba starter" or a "serviceable center" he is paving new road. His speed is enhanced by the weight loss and so is his mobility ...makes me wanna lose my gut.

for years I was really quite thin, skinny in fact. Then as i approached and went thru my 30's my waist and age were in a race to see who could get to 40 quicker.

Age has finally won out!! (thank God as I am 56!!) Left the waist dead in the tracks.

As for a little outside, shot we have seen flashes of it. The foul shooting looks better too. Which is important , if he is going to get the ball more and try to score, he's going to get fouled more too. Making 70-75% of the freebies needs to happen.

Thats a straight examination Beat. Just numbers. Made free throws build confidence and stretch leads. Missed ones destroy confidence and lose leads. The impact is bigger that straight numbers.
