Let me tell you about my Friend!

This morning, after going to another doctor's appointment, I returned home to find a message on my phone.
It was from Sam Jones. He told me he would call later, that a friend had asked him to give me a call. You can
well imagine who that friend was. Our wonderful leader, Sam.

When he called back we talked for several minutes and I told him that it was a wonderful group of people we have
here on line. All die hards for the most part. But, I was honored and thrilled to receive a call from someone I have admired for years. Being a long time Celtics fan, I watched Sam Jones during his prime. No one could hit a bank shot like Sam. He was as excited as I was with the win last night and I said we would bring it back here and win again.

Anyway, I want to thank Sam publicly for being so kind and asking Sam to give me a call. It was an honor and a thrill to talk to someone I have admired as a true Celtic hero. Thank you for your kindness. What would I do without you guys? Sam.....you are the best.

There are many negative stories that we hear about professional athletes. If was refreshing to read about the caring and loving gesture that was made to you.

Thanks TJ-I'll be worn out by the time Sunday rolls around and the Celtics pull off the steal of the playoffs and knock out the Knicks! I am rooting them on as hard as I can.
