That sucks. Apparently there has been a lot of cryptic tweets wishes him condolences lately, so it's not a sudden, unexpected event.

Everyone needs a mom.

That's sad news. Especially for such a young guy and the family.

So young to lose your mother, gotta be tough for him. Cannot and will not imagine. Cherish those that you love.

My heart goes out to him. She must have been a fairly young woman. Life is cruel sometimes.

What a tragedy for Avery and his family! If there's any remote blessing for Avery (and it would probably be way down in the total scheme of things), it's the fact that he has a very tangible way to translate his grief into inspired commitment. And it will hopefully give all of us extra oomph as we root for Avery this season.
