Nellie, 13-14 from the line.
Jim Barnes, who now is the color commentator for GSW broadcasts, was a #1 pick by the Celtics.
Big O, Tom Van Arsdale, Norm Van Lier. Not bad.
This was Cousy's last year and he was with Cincinnati. He came out of retirement, after 6 years off, and played in 7 games from 11/21/69 - 1/6/70. A mistake. His late start to the season is why he has no boxscore in this game.

Bob
It's worth noting that The Cooz was also the coach of the Royals. It was an ill-fated marriage almost from the start, as Cousy and Robertson did not see eye to eye on how to run a team.
Not only did he play in only 7 games, but he played a total of only 34 minutes, and he was derided for singlehandedly giving away one game by allowing the opposing team to come from 5 points behind in (I believe) the last 14 seconds of the game. But here's a trivia question for you. In which season did Bob Cousy amass the largest number of assists per 36 minutes? Answer: That very season of 1968-69 with the Cincinnati Royals, when he handed out 10 assists in those 34 minutes, or 10.6 assists per 36 minutes. In the interest of fairness, he also amassed 10.8 personal fouls per 36 minutes.
He did have better seasons as a player.

Noticed what Celtic on that team is NOT in that boxscore but played his first game a mere 2 days later. He was also drafted by the Cowboys and The Cinncy Reds.
can either of you figure it out?

Yep Jo Jo, according to what I read....
After the Olympics, White was drafted in 1969 in the first round (9th pick overall) by the NBA's Boston Celtics, who at that time had just won their 11th championship in 13 years. There was some reluctance during the time of the draft as White had a mandatory two-year military commitment. Then Boston general manager, Red Auerbach, was able to shorten White's commitment and allow him to participate in the 1969-1970 NBA season.
Geesh I wonder what arms he twisted to make that happen?
