Due to our affiliation with the Celtics, we have all learned about team play at one time or another. That is what this was, a team effort. Many had a hand in this, from bsh's first mention of the classic movie, to 112288's quote from the bar scene, to my lasso the moon bit to jeb's ending and all the rest of the great comments.

It's a Wonderfull Life. Watched it again Wednesday night with my wife. Classic.

Well stated gyso. If only we all could go back in time and change the future by correcting our mistakes. That movie certainly offers a great message. I appreciate your comments about what we learn as a Celtics fans family. The outside world will simply never get it. Hope you and your family had a great Christmas Day as well.

Jebster, I thought I would never root for Lebron and the Cavs. However, after reading some of the insulting comments on the other site about the New England area, the Celtics, and Celtics fans in general, I found myself pulling for the Cavs to win by 30. I hope the NBA and the City of Los Angeles realize what a horrible message the Lakers and their fans sent to the millions of children around the world that were watching the so called "dynasty team" on Christmas Day!!!

I guess what goes around comes around.

Jebster, you should have purchased a lottery ticket right after you were dealt that hand!!! I think what some of the Lakers fans who are counting their chickens before they hatch are forgetting is that the Lakers have 10 more road games then home games in front of them. After today my bet is that they will be facing some pretty hostile crowds as the season progresses. Take away a few lucky Kobe shots at the end of the game, the dynasty would be more like a quick 15 minutes of fame!!!

Thanks gyso, this was great to see again. Boy, do I miss jeb and Sam. Reading their posts always reminds me of that. I also miss a few of the others who do not post anymore.

Memories at this time of the year are the best. There are some names there we have not heard from for a long time for one reason or another. Jeb and Sam are so sorely missed. Jeb for his humor, Sam for he sensibility and knowledge AND BIG HEART. I miss them dearly.

But enough of that, I wish all of you a blessed Holiday season, Christmas used to be my favorite holiday but since I lost my Mom and Dad, it just isn't the same. I have two wonderful kids and a truly spectacular hubby who puts up with all my nonsense when it comes to the Celtics.

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A HEALTHY HAPPY NEW YEAR. Onward to banner 18 this year? who knows but the fun we will have watching it all is the best. Take Care all, be safe during this holiday season

Jeb was funny. Sam was like getting free Bob Ryan/McMullin articles. You guys were a force at the Boston Globe and did what you had to do.

A lot of people must have read your materials there and here. It's nice what you established especially because the Celtics are finally back and on a trajectory to become the best and not just always the little guy up against the Goliaths. So maybe you will get an influx of new good people and keep building on it.

I posted a lot in a very short time because this is a very exciting season despite the ups and downs, and poor Gordon Hayward, Merry Christmas to him too.
