Marshon Brooks Back In The D-League
Not really Celtics news anymore, but for those of you who liked to follow Marshon, and were probably shaking your heads when Danny moved him, here's an update on him.

OAKLAND -- The Golden State Warriors assigned guards Kent Bazemore and MarShon Brooks and center Ognjen Kuzmic to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced on Tuesday. All three players will suit up for tonight’s game against the Idaho Stampede at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz (7:00 p.m.).
Bazemore, who is averaging 2.3 points and 6.1 minutes over 44 games with Golden State this year, made his D-League season debut in Santa Cruz on Feb. 1, leading the Warriors to a win over the Bakersfield Jam with a game-high 25 points.
Brooks, acquired via trade from Boston on Jan. 15, is averaging 1.9 points and 2.1 minutes in seven games with Golden State. The third-year guard scored six points in his Santa Cruz debut on Feb. 1 after averaging 27.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists in five games with Boston’s D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
Kuzmic has tallied nine points in 16 games with Golden State. In Santa Cruz, the rookie center holds averages of 6.3 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.00 blocks in eight games (one start).

Re: Marshon Brooks Back In The D-League
It doesn't sound like the kind of situation that presents a definitive conclusion to Brooks' ultimate value to a major league team. The only thing it means to me is that there's currently no room for him to break into the Warriors' rotation.

It appears Brook's only opportunity would be on a terrible team (Cavaliers, for example).
