Mrkleen,

Owen really looks like he's sighting the basket and practicing his left-handed free throw motion. A young person with such great concentration will be a definite winner throughout his life.

In looking through the various threads from Friday/Saturday, it looks like Sam's post which is two above mine was his last one that he wrote on this forum.
How appropriate that it was one that touched on basketball and life on a personal level!

I'm still sad over his passing!

Are you scouting any good prospects over in the Olde Country for the Celtics to use their 2nd round picks on? It is WAY too early to use one of those picks on Owen, but later on in the next decade . . . ?

Quick update

Owen is now 28 months and is in love with Basketball and Soccer. On a recent trip to Wells Beach, we found an arcade with a basketball game that he could "stand" in and leaning back on me while I fed him the ball which was bigger than him, he shot and shot.

In this clip, he hit 11 in a row - missed 1 and then hit another 3 in a row. He is already a better shooter than DeAndre Jordan Smile

Very cool! He's trying to dribble with his left hand too. That's special. What's really important is that he's healthy and happy. Everything else, at this point, is gravy.
