Re: LeBron back to Cleveland
Good point, Swish. Why not go all the way and make the landing area a trampoline so a player could dunk half a dozen times on the same play?

Re: LeBron back to Cleveland
LeBron's deal is 2-year, $42.1M deal with Cleveland.
2 years. That's not giving Dan Gilbert or David Blatt much rope, now is it?
This makes it more like a public relations rehabilitation than "going home".

Re: LeBron back to Cleveland
He said he was going home but did not say how long he was going to stay there.
But going home must have played a big role in THE DECISION PART DEUX since Lebron could have gone just about any place he wanted.
As for PR rehab, I think for most fans four straight finals trips and two titles took care of that.

Re: LeBron back to Cleveland
If the Cavs reel in Love and manage a commitment from him, I could see Lebron signing an extension. But yes, 2 years is not much of a commitment.

Re: LeBron back to Cleveland
Supposedly, the two-year deal is a smart move.
James signed a two-year, $42.1 million deal, sources familiar with the process told ESPN.com, with the goal of re-signing with the Cavs before the 2016-17 season when a new television deal is expected to create a large jump in value of the maximum contract.

Re: LeBron back to Cleveland
Once again Lebron does what he wants to do.
I was never upset when he left Cleveland after playing there for 7 years.
He could have signed anywhere but choose to go back I think because he wants to completely remove the taint on his legacy and the Cavs have some very serious young talent that will only get better.
It was a calculated move and a good one.
