Of the 18 games the Celtics have played at the Garden, 10 (or 56%) have been against teams with records above .500.

Of the 21 games the Celtics have played away from home, 8 (or 38%) have been against teams with records above .500.

Not a very promising stat when you consider that virtually all the teams we will be playing, at home and on the road, will have records above .500.

This stat was intended only to explain the present. I believe that has no bearing on the future IF the Celtics get their people and their rhythm back. That's precisely what I mean when I say you can't predict the future based on a very different present.
