Projected final East Standings.
Based on how teams are playing now and coming schedules:
1.Atl----62---20
2.Clev--52---30
3.Chic--48---34
4.Tor---48---34
5.Wash-47---35
6.Mil----41---41
7.Ind---41---41
Char-39---43
Mia---38--44
we are at 30-36 now, so we need to go 10-6 the rest of the way to make the playoffs by my estimate.

Very sensible projection, and I think that 10-6 is very possible.
Making the playoffs will be very nice in the second year of the re-build. And, if the team falls a little bit short of the playoffs it still will be a very good year on the court.
Playoffs or no playoffs this year, Ainge needs to have a great off-season and find a way to come up with at least two high level players to add to the group that wears green now. He certainly has draft picks, trade exemptions for trades, cap room, etc, etc. Next season will not be able to be considered a success (without significant injuries) if Boston is still fighting to get into the playoffs.

Re: Projected final East Standings.
Honestly
I look to the following season 2016-17, when we make the big splash and actually be a contender. Having the Nets first rounder plus our own (unless they are part of a trade) could be the draft day we all really want.
We might not get the ideal big just yet but we should be better next season.
Regardless it will be an interesting off season, and given the type of game we play perhaps some high level FA might want to give us a serious look too.
