Teams Using $92M Projected Cap For 16-17

Many teams are using $92 million as the new projected cap for the 16-17 season.
The NBA initially projected an $89 million ceiling for next ceiling as the league's new television deals begin.
The NBPA rejected a smoothing proposal from the owners that would have resulted in a gradual salary cap increase.

MY NOTE: For all you budding young GMs and capologists out there (especially kdp and gyso, but everybody else too), here's the number you have to fit under for all your trades, free agent signings, etc. This should make it a little easier to come up with moves that are doable, vs fantasy league stuff.

This is the potential Godzilla to the NBA's Tokyo.
It's also the NBA agents new supplemental retirement plan.
The players association is going in looking for a much bigger piece of the pie. Enjoy all 82 games this season. Greed is going to make for some rocky times ahead.
