We have one now for Brooklyn, might as well start one for Dallas. In case you didn't know, we have Dallas' first round pick this year. It is protected if it is 1-7, so we want them to be bad, just not bottom 7 bad. Ergo, the "life support" watch rather than "death watch".

As of the creation date of this thread the Mavericks are 6-4 and have the 10th BEST record in the league. We want, and hope, their schedule turns them into the 10th worst.

Unfortunately, they play Philly today, so "the plunge" isn't going to happen right away.

ALSO, and this isn't probably worth it's own thread, we own Minny's 1st round pick this year too. It is protected 1-12, so it will be, at best, a low lottery pick. If their pick is 1-12 then we get a 2016 2nd and a 2017 2nd. As of today, Minny has the 7th worst record in the league, so we need them to step it up a bit. Still early. You'd think they'd be doing better with Towns and Wiggins and Lavine and Kevin Martin and Gorgui Dieng. C'mon KG! Get the young'uns ballin'!!

Potentially a plethora of riches! May it come to fruition in the best possible way. santa

I also would not mind if the Mavericks falter as the worse they play all season the better their draft pick will be either for the Cs to use as a draft pick or a trade piece.

Also, I have never been a fan of Mark Cuban either.
