10 Day Deal likely dead
It appears that some other team (not identified by Mark Murphy) has offered a better ten day deal
to Kirlpatrick likely killing the deal with the Celtics.
Nothing is going easy for the Celtics right now. Now they are fighting over a D-League player who
has bounced around.
Okay Bob, Bring on Jordan Crawford, I will email DA with your suggestion!!!!

Rosalie,
In fairness I think it is kdp who is pushing for Mr. Herky-Jerky. I'm just willing to take one for the team and acquiesce.

I personally think he is way on the back burner. Somehow I just don't see it happening. They will find someone, but, this is one of those situations that puzzles me. Who is the other team? Obviously he was not in Boston, so a contract was not signed.
Oh well, someone else may be on the horizon who will make them glad they did not sign him????

Sources: The Chicago Bulls have signed guard Sean Kilpatrick to a three-year, $6.2M deal, with team options on next two seasons. As part of salary maneuvering, Bulls signed Kilpatrick as part of mid level exception.

MY NOTE: Now we know who that other team is. No wonder Kirkpatrick took it. Beats the Hell out of a 10-day @ the minimum.

Re: 10 Day Deal likely dead
Is he really worth the money or are they just desperate to fill a slot with cheap money?

Re: 10 Day Deal likely dead
This summer they can use his salary in a trade or just release him. If they keep him all next season, it repeats for next summer.
Danny Ainge used to do this almost every spring, back when we were over the cap. I expect him to return to this strategy when all the extra draft picks run out.
