Does this open a slot for us to go after a big name free agent? Surely we can go after one if the Lakers can have 3 of them.

I do not think we have the cap space to go after a big time center. And it makes little sense to throw money at marginal big man talent with no upside.

Our course of action is plain as day. Get a big out of the draft, start looking at CAP space now to get you there in 2 years. Take the hit, develop the young guys and stay patient.

This is not the what we expected but this is what we have in front of us.

Dboss.....well if our friend Folger had his way he would fire Danny Ainge right now. After he said that, I shut it off. That guy absolutely hates the Celtics and I refuse to listen to him.
