Help from Kevin Garnett?

Is it possible for Ainge and Stevens to attempt to bring in Kevin Garnett to help Celtics players such as Fall, Theis, and the Williams guys?
Garnett was a teacher while playing and has done some guest appearance type coaching since retiring. Reaching out to him can only help these
young players.

Even just a week of specialized instruction from one of the best big men ever could only help. The Patriots get help from former players as do
the Red Sox in spring training so I would guess that it would be OK for the Cs to do the same.

No brainer, we should do this....

I could see KG coming in for preseason only, a short time gig.

I'd still like to see some kind of commitment by the Celtics to provide long term big man coaching. Bring back Waltah!!

Fantastic moves in 2007-08 brought a championship after a drought since 1985-86. The additions of Horford , Hayward and Irving fell short over the last 3 years - so it's back to the drawing board for a restart. This too shall pass. (I think )

I don't know if he leaves the west coast!!! He helped out Doc Rivers last year, has worked with Thon Maker who he loves. It would be interesting to see what his reaction would be to this request if they made it. Remember the relationship is with Ainge, Stevens has no real relationship with KG. But he loves Boston, so I wonder. I said this on line the other night.

I could very much be in favor of packing up all of the Cs big men and flying them to California if Garnett would agree to something like a 3 day clinic. At least that would solve his issue (if he has one) of leaving California.

Let a couple more 6+ Richter Scale earthquakes rattle the area and KG may change his tune about leaving CA. I personally would be on the next flight out!
