My first reaction when I saw the title of this thread was, "Whom did he get for a sparring partner?"

My second reaction brought me back to the story I wrote after accompanying the Celtics in that finally 1969 championship trip to L.A. After 41 years, I have now officially decided there will be no sequel to that story. These guys would drop me out the door at 41,000 feet.

I always thought of BBD as a big of a fatty but after seeing him dancing in that wife-beater shirt, he is much more muscular then I expected.
Since he is 6'9" 290, I'm not about to make fun of the way he dances...

BBD is hilarious. He goofs around alot but also seems to know when it is time to battle.

It is easy to be just a clown but he is not afraid of bang around and get his hands dirty when necessary. Big smile and a big heart

Last off-season BBD got into karate and MMA. In fact, I read a story where he says he'd like to do MMA (obviously, his basketball contract won't let him).

He's certainly not a fatty anymore.
