Schedule Through The Draft Deadline Empty Schedule Through The Draft Deadline

How well we do, or do not, from now through February 10th will have an impact on how motivated Brad will be to make changes other than the obvious (i.e. trading Schroder because he was always a short-term rental).

Here's what the road ahead looks like.  The records of each team are as of today 1/2/22:

1/2 vs Magic (7-29) - WIN (OT)
1/5 vs Spurs (14-21)
1/6 @ Knicks (17-19)
1/8 vs Knicks
1/10 vs Pacers (14-22)
1/12 @ Pacers
1/14 @ Sixers (19-16)
1/15 vs Bulls (24-10)
1/17 vs Pelicans (13-23)
1/19 vs Hornets (19-17)
1/21 vs Trailblazers (13-22)
1/23 @ Wizards (18-18)
1/25 vs Kings (15-22)
1/28 @ Hawks (16-19)
1/29 @ Pelicans
1/31 vs Heat (23-13)
2/2 vs Hornets
2/4 @ Pistons (6-28)
2/6 @ Magic
2/8 @ Brooklyn (23-11)

20 games.
11 home, 9 away.
13 of 20 vs <.500 teams.
Number of home games of <.500 vs .500+ is 7-4
Number of road games of <.500 vs .500+ is 6-3.
So, the majority of our home games and the majority of our road games are vs sub-.500 teams.

3 b2b.  First b2b is vs 2 <.500 teams.  Second b2b is vs 2 >.500 teams.  Third b2b is vs 2 <.500 teams.  One b2b is home-home, the other two are home-away (or away-home).  So, about as good as you can ask for.

December's schedule was absolutely brutal, and I'm not talking about our win-loss record in December.  The schedule itself was tough.  January and the first 10 days of February look pretty good except for having 3 b2b but, even then, 4 of our 6 b2b opponents are sub-.500 teams.

There is an opportunity for this team to claw its way back up the standings by the trade deadline.

That's promising. It's just about time for everyone to be back on the court, isn't it?
