It was an easy no vote for me.
JT is surrounded by high quality players. Who is the 2nd best player behind Luka on the Mavs. See what I mean.
JT for All NBA first team...YES

Good point, but Tatum still has been carrying us bigly as of late, playing better and easier than I’ve ever seen from him. He’s carrying us and making everyone better, tonight he wasn’t on a surreal dominant level like the last 2-3 games, but he still put up 31 8 6 in a game he went 2-9 from 3. When you can do that on an off or avg night for him compared to the last few, that’s damn good. To me he hasn’t done it long enough this year, as he’s really picked it up now, but earlier was very inefficient and couldn’t carry the team thru earlier growing pains. If Durant didn’t miss that recent stretch he would be the favorite for MVP IMHO. Right now it should be Giannis again, look at his numbers night in and night out, or Embid or Jokic. The only way Tatum wins this is if we continue this streak and he continues this dominant pace and we end up in first place; then best player on best team status would allow him the hardware, but right now no.

Maybe, but Jayson is a much better and more versatile defender. One could also argue that if Jayson had lesser teammates, his offensive stats would be gaudier (at least obvious ones like ppg, assists).
