War Criminal facing consequences for his latest crime: ATTEMPTED TEAMMATE TERMINATION!

There was a physical altercation at the Warriors’practice Wednesday morning that has the team seriously considering disciplinary action toward Draymond Green, sources with knowledge of the incident told The Athletic.
When a heated interaction with guard Jordan Poole escalated, Green forcefully struck Poole and needed to be separated swiftly, sources said. Green and Poole came chest-to-chest, with both players pushing and shoving each other prior to Green’s escalation of the physical altercation, those sources said.
The Warriors stopped practice and tried to settle nerves in the team’s locker room area, but it appears that internal discipline is imminent.
Poole and Green are known to regularly get into verbal arguments, but the team’s management and leadership believes a line was crossed.

Green needs to be placed in NBA Time Out TFN

Draymond is making almost $26M this year.  He has a Player Option next year for $27.5M.  He wants a max contract.  Reports out of the GSW organization (and I live out here) are that they have no interest in giving him that.

I don't see this altercation as improving his negotiating position.  Jordan Poole is highly thought of.  He's also pretty cheap ($3.9M this year and a $5.8 Qualifying Offer next year which will almost certainly be topped by some other team.  If they want to keep him GSW will need to match it).  Steph is getting paid $48M this year (NOT a typo!) and has 3 more years after this one @ > $50M each.  Klay makes $40.6M this year and has one more year after this one.  There's almost $89M in just 2 players.  Wiggins makes 33.6M this year and is an UNrestricted Free Agent next year.  He's only 27 years old, while Green will be 33 1/2.  Who do you think GSW would rather pay the big bucks to? Draymond Green, or some to Wiggins and some to Poole?

Draymond Green is expected to receive some form of disciplinary action after striking Jordan Poole during a Golden State Warriors practice, sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

Green and Poole reportedly had prior history, though no Warriors players felt that Green's actions were warranted.

Green was apologetic following the incident.

Teammates noticed a change in Poole's behavior during training camp as he closed in on a new contract, according to sources.

My note:

Green alienated Durant a few years back and now his inappropriate behavior has raised its' ugly head once again.

If you read between the lines, it sounds like Poole's behavior (?) reflects his focus on him getting a new deal.

I can’t see them giving Green a Max.
The War Criminal has made good use of his time in helping the Dubs win titles.
He’s older, wilder and damn near out of control. He didn't get along with KD and a few others in the past and now Poole. What or who is the common denominator here?
It looks like the War Criminal has just about worn out his welcome.
