Magic @ Celtics pregame tidbits

The Magic play the Celtics in Boston tomorrow and then again on Sunday (3 PM)

They may be one of those under the radar teams.  They have some young talent.

The Magic are on a 4 game winning streak (Clippers, Raptors, Raptors and Hawks) They seem to have found something with a starting unit of Banchero, Franz Wagner and big brother Moritz, Bol Bol and Markelle Fultz.  Mo Bamba is coming off the bench along with Cole Anthony and Terrence Ross. Wendell Carter is injured.

Their starting unit has great size.  Fultz is 6'4" and they start (3) 6'10" guys along with 7'2" bol bol.

The thing is, this team has not been able to win on the road (1-11)  Even their home record (8-9) was boosted by their 4 game winning streak.

The Celtics should be well rested and ready for some home cooking and their extended home stand that will take them through the remainder of the year.

Robert Williams will likely suit up for the first time this year.

There will be high energy at work tomorrow night.

I expect Rob to be on a minutes restriction (15 Minutes tops)

Yes, and let's please not immediately give back the gift that the Grizzles gave us overnight by totally dismantling/humbling/humiliating the Bucks because we underestimate the Magic.  

The Magic's streak ends here.  The long-anticipated RWIII 2022-23 Era FINALLY begins tonight!  

Starter or off the bench?  Anyone?  I'll go with off the bench.

Yep. ESPN is in the tank with MIL. Absolutely no mention of last night's shellacking. Pels vs. Jazz got the headlines.

And the Celtics begin the longest homestand in years writing a new 30 for 30 with their Winter roommates... "What if I told you the Celtics and Bruins would play their first 30 home games this year...without a single regulation loss?" 30 games 26 wins 4 losses (all 4 in OT)

The Celtics' defense ranks 4th in the NBA the last two weeks (with all road games). Friday, they get Rob back, and open a 7-game homestand...all vs. teams with offensive ratings in the NBA's bottom half. Magicx2 (24) Pacers (16) Wolves (18) Bucks (17) Rockets (26) Clippers (29)
