Daniels, Dooling and Bass

Daniels coming back is good and also bad. He is an injury waiting to happen.

Dooling is a combo guard but ar 6' 3' and a below 40% shooter from the field I would rather have D West.

Bass brings toughness and offense (but baby also played center some)

So far DA has not done anything that improve the team.

Danny is limited because of salary restrictions. Hard to expect anything major to happen until next year.

I think the big surprise for them will be the rookie Johnson...he is a baller.

Well now I read where wilcox and david west may be in the mix.

Always thought west was a well above average pf but he is coming off a season ending acl injury. Once again da goes after a big with a health issue. Has he not learned from his past mistakes?

Wilcox is a tough as nails player but he its another tweener. How does he fit in?

In my mind da is batting 1 of 5.

Wilcox is signed and will be our starting center in most games. West and Bass may get some time there as well. Lastly, JJJ and Stiemsma may see time there as well.

Maybe Danny gets one more big true center, but it looks like there will be very little distinction between the 4 and 5 spots. That is how a lot of teams will be going this year.

Yeah I guess they will try to run a shorter version of the Bynum/Gasol/Odom thing.

Just how many teams have better than average centers anyway? Surround a big body with better than average players and some depth think we'll be fine ( always question that as our depth always seems better than it turns out to be)

I'll wait till the dust settles. Not sure if we are done by any means.

I think this is absolutely true. It looks like this has been a part of the evolution of the game going on in NCAA D1 and the NBA for some time.

I wonder if Bass will be used for the West signing somehow if JON doesnt want to.

Bass feels expendable if we can get West for him+body and then we would still have a legit center. As it is now I dont know why the Hornets would want JON anyway, they need PF more.
