Clippers cancel Allen's meeting

I just read on the local Celtic radio channel web site that the Clippers have cancelled the meeting with Ray. They had made an offer to Jamal
Crawford this morning. It's all up to Ray now, Miami or Boston????

If Ray chooses Miami he must really not want to be in Boston. I'm still hoping he retires a Celtic. The Celtics need Ray and I hope Ray wants to be a Celtic.

From what I just read, the Celts are putting on a hard push for Ray. They have either offered him a no trade contract or a trade kicker where the salary goes way up and the Celtics are on the hook for $

nba realgm is stating that Ray "likely" will sign with the heat.. but offer no reasons why he would pick the Heat over the Celtics

Clippers is out of the picture.

What we're looking at really is in all likelyhood of a repeat next yr of the ECF's.. and if one of those teams happens to have a Ray Allen, theres a paticuler amount of percentage points that might lay the odds in their favor..

for Ray to leave Boston though, he'd have to accept less money and move his family out of a place he loves- and where one child is getting cared for by his diabetes- by what he himself describes as one of the top places in the country.

to go play for a team whose been "the enemy" for the last couple seasons.

i really dont see an advantage in signing with Miami.. really dont.

He will also be able to get home a lot faster, since NO ONE goes to Heat games until the finals....when the pretend they were there all year.

And....if he has a bad game, they will walk out on him. No standing ovation when his name is announced

The Heat had the 4th highest attendance per game this year.
I believe they sold out every game.

May have sold out but seats were avalible for their playoff games. And in looking at the seats there were quite a few empty ones that one could easily see.

Selling out and actually haveing an A$$ in every seat is not the same thing as you well know

In the case of Miami, that would be "having an A$$hole in every seat".
