If you think getting the crowd at TD Garden pumped up is all fun and games, then you don’t know what it’s like to be a Boston Celtics dancer. The Celtics dance team held their annual three-day tryout this week, culminating in the selection of the 20-member 2013 squad. The dancers performed a number of routines in front of the team’s coaches in the hopes of standing out. Many of the participants characterized participation on the team as a part-time job but a full-time commitment. See more from the tryout in the video above. Red has to take one for the team - that's what his wife was worried about, and remember, she spent most of the season living in D.C.

I don't mean to suggest at all that Red was in any way unfaithful to his wife. I was only joking that she could have been a factor in his opposition to Celtic cheerleaders.
