Good to see he's doing well, but no rush... Don't want another situation like Derrick Rose/Kobe Bryant.

Here's a video of Rondo's 5-on-5 pickup game.  He asked for volunteers, after practice was over, to help him get some game rhythm back, and everybody signed up.

Good news, he's getting getting tripped and bouncing up.  He's hitting outside jumpers.  A 1/2 court pass to KO, just a bit too far but a nice aggressive look, who made a great save and assist to Lee.  His passing, floor generalship looks sharp.

Bad news, he's still walking the ball up.

It seemed to me that Rondo was more anxious to work on his halfcourt game, quite possibly because it presents less chance for a catastrophic injury setback than a running game does.  I believe that long pass to Olynyk was right in keeping with that approach.  They were even giving the team the ball in the halfcourt on out-of-bounds plays rather than actually bringing it in from out of bounds.  In other words, I think the pace of the game was intended to allow Rondo to focus on operating within conservative limitations rather than playing full-out.
