All,

I second the motion to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all board members and their loved ones.

I will extend these wishes to all of the Guests who read this board but have not yet decided to join us and become members themselves.

Well said, gyso. Everyone's welcome to join the fun as we experience the next Celtics era together. And it's completely free.

I don't want it if it's Kwame Brown.

A Merry and Happy to everyone on here.

Merry Christmas to all from the newest member of the family...Riley.
Wish my wife was as easy to buy for as him...... and he liked everything he got too.

beat,

Nice addition to your family!!

Apparently, I am also easy to buy for. My son-in-law bought me tickets to the Charlotte-OKC game this Friday. How did he know?

He also got tickets for my other two son-in-laws that live in the area. I predict great fun!!!

Have a great time, gyso. I just read a USA Today article on how the Thunder are flying high.

Beat,

Are you old enough to remember the radio/television show "The Life of Riley?" I was wondering whether your dog's name had anything to do with that show. Probably not, because Chester A. Riley's best-known remark was, "What a revoltin' development this is!" I hope Riley and his four biggest fans will have a great 2014.

Sam,

I remember it somewhat.....very somewhat.
and by the way everyone Riley is my daughters dog not mine. Lives with her not us.

It was funny when Zack and Sarah left to put presents in her car, they left the dog inside. Thought he was going to jump thru the window as it appeared to him they were leaving without him. Separation anxiety times 100 !!!

On another note..... sort of sad but thats the way it is note....

Marcus got an offer to play at a high level baseball team that travels around the northeast, supposidly a good quality (perhaps college D-2 or 3 level anyway) but he declined, he just can't throw good enough to play at that level. He's still hoping for that intership with the C's, nothing official at this point. but not to finish with a sour note............he did pull a 3.4 GPA at Syracuse this past semester.

Beat,

Sounds as though you guys had a great time together. I'm sorry to hear about Marcus' missed opportunity. If he couldn't even throw well enough to play first base, it must be really serious. On the other hand, it sounds as though he's really thriving at Syracuse. Wishing him the best on the Celtics' internship front. And it sounds as though Sarah is just cruising through life right now. Happy New Year to all!
