Woj: Chris Babb To Sign Multi-Year Deal With Celtics

The Boston Celtics will sign Chris Babb to a multi-year contract, a league source tells Yahoo Sports. His second 10-day deal ends today.

MY NOTE: Details unknown so far, but my gut tells me it's a Chris Johnson 3 years non-guaranteed contract. What this guarantees is that Chris Babb will be invited to camp in September, but that's about it. Regardless, congratulations Chris!

This is a . . . no brainah!!  I think I called this just about 10 days ago. (LOL)

He'll be invited to camp if he is still a Celtic.  *shrugs*  Not likely.

Non-guaranteed contract = easy salary dump for the other team we trade him to.  But, as you say, congratulations Chris!  You can probably use the money.
