Wow, that's quite an ordeal already.  I'm sorry you and Nancy had to endure that, but I'm glad it's something that can be addressed—very well, in fact.  Here's to wonderful news in August.

One last test and one last exploratory procedure (like Danny had a few years ago) went very well yesterday, and I'm back home.  Last comes a surgeon's consult, then the major surgery.  Looks good for a minimally invasive process rather than open heart surgery.  The difference between (1) going home for life as usual with a bandaid on my groin a week after the surgery or (2) a having a several month recuperation period after they've ripped open my chest hangs in the balance.  The goal is still Paris in late August.
