Celtics legend Dave Cowens joined Tom Leyden in the FOX25 Studios to debut our new series, "Legends with Leyden."

Periodically, Tom will welcome local sports legends to chat with them about their proudest athletic moments and catch up with what they're doing today.

Tom and Dave zeroed in on the 1974 and 1976 NBA Finals, both won by the Celtics.

Cowens role in the 1974 Finals was unique as he had to figure out a way to take advantage of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was in the midst of his dominant stretch with the Bucks.

The 1976 Finals against the Suns featured one of the greatest NBA games ever played, a triple-overtime Game 5 thriller won by the Celtics.
