Jeb: Surely won't be Michael Jackson. He's not around anymore! The Denver game was a game we seemed to have well in hand until the late 3rd quarter 15-4 run by the Nuggets. Based on earlier season collapses in similar situations the C's at that time seemed to come apart, usually at the seems. Last night showed quite a bit of composure to withstand that run and answer back to put the lead back into double digits. The rebounding is improving. I remember one sequence when the Celts corralled five (5) straight offensive rebounds before converting. The way we are currently playing we could have a shot at beating anyone in the EAST except the CAVS. We still need to find another gear to stay with them!-MD.

One thing that i am seeing real clear. None of the starters were at all in any way shape or form rattled by the Denver run. They are stepping proud and their body language shows me they EXPECT to win. We have a lot of weapons and can beat Cleve at home but it is going to take execution and effort. We have to box out every time and we have to score. I'd let lebron score 70 and not let his much lesser teamates get involved. They are prone to standin around watching him I'd like to see that for a whole game.

I am noticing much more attention to rebounds. Position and passion...hustle and pride. Offensive boards just destroy the other team and usually lead to easy buckets after good d has been played. Glen has really been good at this lately.

Jeb: Don't think you want Lebron ringing up 70. Besides, he is more trusting with this group of CAVS than the ones he's had as teammates in the past. Mo Williams is better, Delonte is dangerous, Jamison is proven, and Hickson is a thoroughbred. Trust is greater now than ever with them. I think their team assist total is higher than it's been probably since Mark Price was there. Jordan had the Jordan had the Jordanaires. King James now has his court fully assembled. The Celts need to keep improving and refining team chemistry to rise to the challenge of the CAVS! It CAN be done! But it will take a ton more work by the C's-MD

Yeah this is true. But a fellow can hope eh? Specialy after the last 6 games we have played. If PP continues this great run and we continue to build Sam's synergy as a team we can play with anyone.

One other thing MD none of the king's court including the King himself have proven themselves to be winners in the postseason. James got to the finals once and got swept. Mo Williams excelled during the regular season and embarrassed himself in the postseason. Hickson is unproven. Any team that relies on the 3 ball is beatable if they stop falling.

But right now the Cavs have the best flow in the nba. and if they are able to play with that flow they will probably win it. Big if though.

Since you brought up the Cavs, I have really been wondering??? While Gilbert lost the entire year for his foolishness and the other kid too, why is it that Delonte West is still able to be in the league, playing, and not paying a price for his transgressions. He was riding around with THREE LOADED guns.
Gilbert's weren't loaded, although he was stupid enough to have them at the arena. Seems to me there is more to this story than meets the eye. I don't care how much anyone loved Delonte when he was here, he should also be paying a price for his problems. What's fair, is fair.

During this stop it was found that West had a 9mm Beretta pistol, .357 Magnum, and a Remington 870 in a guitar case. He was arrested and had a court appearance on Nov. 20. West could face a fine of $2,500 and/or up to a 3 year prison sentence on weapons charges.[4] His trial was scheduled to be heard on February 18, 2010,[5] but was postponed until April 26, 2010.[6]

Some of it is where it happened. DC gun laws are very serious and similar to getting popped in vegas with drugs.

In looking into this a bit more I can only assume the league is leting the legal process run it course prior to taking any action. Why? WHo knows. Stern has to answer to nobody. In the NFL Delonte would be a Bengal!!
