The Private Message (PM) Feature

The Private Message (PM) Feature allows you to send a quick private message directly to a forum member's Inbox. This is a kind of internal Email system.

You can access this Inbox and the entire internal PM system by picking the "You have X new messages" button at the top right side of the page.

To send a PM to another member, press the button with the PM in it, which is located below the avatar. The first TO: Address is already set up when you picked the PM button. To add another board member to send the PM to, press the + button at the top and type the user's name in the new box. Continue to press the + and enter new names as required.

As we go forward with this message board, we all should be aware of the "You have X new messages" button at the top of the page. It also can be used as an indicator to the fact that we have new messages to read.

This message system gets filled up fast, so you will have to maintain it by deleting older messages. I suppose that if you allow it to fill up to 100%, any further messages would not be delivered.
