JR Smith out 4-6 Weeks

Thumb surgery. I don't see a lot of veteran depth behind him at the SG. Could be an opportunity for Toronto and Boston to close the gap a bit. At worst, maybe it will force Tyronn Lue to play 31 year old (he'll be 32 on 12/30) LeBron James heavier minutes, which will pay dividends later in the season. We're not even at the halfway mark. As it is, he is playing 37.2mpg, the most since 2013-2014 when he played 37.7mpg.

Just goes to show that an injury to any player can happen at any time.
4-6 weeks is a long time without a starter for just about any team. Hope we do not have this problem at any time.
