If Murray cant score efficiently with Kyrie guarding him that won’t be very encouraging.

I’m guessing nut cruncher Marcus Smart gets the assignment of guarding DJ; but I’m hoping Pop let’s Kyle handle most of the playmaking and let DJ run free so he can get loose for a few lobs. Wishful Thinking.

Saw Celtics vs Heat on TV the other day. Celtics looked well balanced with contributions from lots of players. Brown & Tatum are really impressive for young players. Horford & Baynes are tough inside. Seems like a difficult matchup for Spurs on a back to back.

There’s a video out there somewhere from a few days ago of Baynes trying to block Antetokounmpo. I was amazed Baynes wasn’t carried out on a stretcher.

you’re forgetting baynes is the same guy who the spurs coaching staff purposely left out of practice because he might injure someone during practice. Baynes is a pretty massive human being

The spurs don't give a **** about winning games anymore. They can't. The only thing I can see is that Popovich is tanking again to avoid getting that #1 seed for reasons that only he knows

Bill Land said this was the Celtics’ first victory against the Spurs since 2011, holy cow!

Celtics have 3 pgs way better than any of our pgs.

We are not the only homers.

They were missing 2 of their starters, and Manu hardly plays anymore. I think Pop knows what he's doing, and they will be fine by the end of the year. This is what us spoiled Pats fans may sound like some day.........so used to winning.

When are we going to start using the loss of Gordon Hayward when we get beat??? Seems that is what is going on every time we play someone who has a player missing. Even Marcus Morris could be used as an excuse too!!!!

Call it like it is, they just got beat by a hungry bunch of guys trying to prove themselves. The more wins we pile up now, the better as the season goes on

Them missing Leonard is a good excuse, but I'm not sure about the other guys, maybe Tony Parker.

We'll only need to use the Hayward injury excuse card if more Celtics get hurt and especially at small forward. Maybe there will be less injuries without as many back to backs.

One of my biggest gripes is that the refs let too much go in the playoffs. I was losing confidence in Isaiah for the post-season. Not that he couldn't handle it. He was greatness in one of those. But he always seemed to get clobbered more because of the no blood, no foul playoff rule.

I think there should be harsh suspensions for the type of unnatural act Crowder committed on Hayward. The irony is I think when Jae was our best player defending LeBron while scoring points himself, Cleveland took care of that by battering him down with cheap shots. That's how I remember it.

We have seen many years ruined due to injuries. Rondo got his arm torn off by Wade. Perk got pushed into an injury while in the air.

I think the Celtics can win it all this year even without Gordon. We will only lose games if the raw players all stink in the same contests or the other team is solid, so tip your cat. Show some of Brad Stevens' emotional maturity.

I think we will have a spectacular record against bad teams for example tonight against Sacramento. It should be a cupcake with extra frosting and a lot of playing time for young players who don't get tired and heal fast.
