Boston has a tendency to play down to their opponents and lose focus. hope they dont take this one for granted and curbstomp our guys like they should

As a Derrick fan, I'm thrilled for him but dang we sure could have used his smarts

We’re terribly missing his basketball IQ. Not that we have dumb guys but we have guys that could really use a calming influence from DW

Derrick is entering his ultimate prime and outplaying Smart this year, he is that valuable to the Celtics. He's also among the best guards in the NBA this season by most advanced stats and it's a balance between high level offense and defense.

Don't be surprised if the Spurs make this a close one. Even through their mediocre recent seasons the Spurs have given the Celtics trouble. We shall see.

So the Celtics commentary is confused over the Spurs having a bad record with the play-by-play guy wondering if Pop is fine losing while Scalabrine goes "the Spurs are as good as any team in offense... but they don't guard". (MY NOTE: The Spurs have the 6th worst offense in the league @ 112.0ppg. Once again, Scal highlighting his ignorance. He was right about defense, though. San Antonio has the #1 worst defense in the league)

Boston's broadcast is always a brutal listen

Celtics are able to double off of Tre Jones, so there's never really a mismatch in favor of the Spurs .. Celtics will leave Tre open at the 3 point line

Not going to lie, I can't wait for tank to be over, these guys will be great to watch next season.

Maybe if they get Wemby. Otherwise find it hard to believe this could be even a 35 win team without the outright tanking.

This season was blatant tanking. Just look at those matchup-based DNPs and flat out horrible lineups in 3rd/4th whenever it was a tight game. Luckily for us, mainstream media doesn't care about the Spurs and noone is paying attention.

This Celtic team plays how I wish our team would in the future. Good offense and gritty defense. The only thing I don’t like about the Celtics is their best players have a tendency to take bad shots at times.

Graham was mugged twice and had no calls ... he must have pissed off the refs in the past ... on the loose ball he got tackled and at the end of halftime, he was just clubbed on the way to the basket .. both obvious fouls

Refs are blind .. Graham was absolutely fouled and it was obvious in live play

Terrific transition D by the Celtics. Our guys can learn a lot from that.

White couldn't shoot a 3 to save his life in his last year with the Spurs and he was constantly injured ... neither have been problems with the Celtics

There are times when Mazzulla plays both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum too long. I remember them winning big like this against someone else and they played about the same amount of minutes

Derrick is still a Spur at heart. He's working hard giving lessons for the development of our youngsters.
